School Uniform is not compulsory although some parent/carers do like uniform particularly as we are such an experiential nursery, as wearing uniform protects their child’s own clothes. Some also say that by wearing uniform their child knows that they are going to nursery.

Our sweatshirts and cardigans are available from Macey Sports on Caerleon Road as are the white polo shirts if you want clothing with the Newport Nursery School Logo. You can also buy plain white polos or jade green sweatshirts from supermarkets if you prefer. Joggers, trousers, leggings, skirts or pinafores can be any colour you wish. In the summer you can also buy green gingham dresses or similar.
